With a variable volume of 48+5 litres, it is ideal for multi-day mountain expeditions where you need to carry more gear. The Hollow Back System, featuring anatomically shaped padding and ventilation channels, ensures stability and comfort. The backpack is made from nylon and has a waterproof finish. Removable parts, such as the hip belt and lid, allow you to reduce the overall weight.

Comfort and stability with the Hollow Back system

The Hollow Back System is designed for comfort when carrying heavier loads. It combines pre-shaped padding with ventilation channels and a quick-drying 3D mesh, which promotes airflow and reduces moisture build-up on your back. A polyethylene back panel containing a removable aluminium reinforcement provides stability and even load distribution. The padded shoulder straps and structured hip belt contribute to comfort, even during all-day climbs.

Modular design and easy access

The backpack adapts to the conditions of any ascent. You can easily detach both the hip belt and the top lid, which reduces the total weight of the pack for technically demanding climbs. Access to your gear is possible not only from the top via the roll-top closure, but also using the front vertical zip. This gives you quick access to equipment stored in the middle or at the bottom without having to unpack everything.

Clever organisation for technical equipment

The Ferrino Summit 48+5 offers a system of holders and pockets for all your essential gear. You can securely attach ice axes, skis, snowshoes, a rope, and trekking poles to the outside. Pockets in the lid, on the back, and on the hip belt are perfect for smaller items. Inside, there is a pocket for an avalanche probe and shovel, and the pack is compatible with a hydration pack. It also includes integrated SOS instructions for emergencies.
