Garmin Bike Speed Sensor and Cadence Sensor

This is a practical set of wireless speed and cadence sensors from Garmin that has been designed to meet the needs of cycling enthusiasts. This kit provides you with information about your performance. The wireless sensors monitor your pedalling cadence and/or speed as your ride, with high precision. The measured information is displayed in real-time on the connected display and stored, so you can see it in the GarminConnect training log. The kit is simple to assemble and set up and unlike classic or older sensors, it does not use any magnets or require counterparts. Just mount it on the handle, which you complete within five minutes. Then you can just pair it with your Garmin Sportsmate.

Speed Sensor

Measures the speed and distance travelled based on information from the wheel rotation. The sensor offers versatile use - it is safe for use during indoor riding on a turbo trainer, but is also useful for classic outdoor use. During stationary training, it can measure the distance using the sensor, which is a great advantage over GPS measurements, which usually only measure the horizontal distance.
Installing and adjusting the sensor is very easy and can be done within 5 min. It is installed directly on the hub of the front wheel (in the centre). After installing it, you only need to pair it with a compatible device, then it automatically calibrates with GPS for accurate measurements. You do not have to manually enter the wheel circumference.
