Garmin Varia UT 800 - Urban Editon

The Garmin Varia UT 800 - Urban Editon flashlight is specifically designed for mounting on the handlebars of a bicycle. It has a luminous intensity of up to 800 lumens and its visibility during the day is more than 1.6 km. You can use the flashlight on its own, as well as pair it wirelessly with Garmin Edge cycling computers. This automatically adjusts the light cone and intensity based on computer data, depending on the current speed, time of day or night, as well as the current lighting conditions. The faster you go, the brighter the light shines for longer distance visibility. On the other hand, when driving slower, the light is less intense, which also saves battery life.

Garmin Varia UT 800 offers 5 light modes

The Garmin Varia UT 800 flashlight offers 5 lighting modes that also ensure its different endurance. In high intensity mode the light lasts for 1.5 h, in medium intensity mode it lasts for 3 h, low intensity and night flashing modes offer 6 h and in day flashing mode the light lasts up to 20 hours. The light is IPX7 waterproof, making it resistant to immersion in 1 m of water for 30 minutes. The Garmin Varia UT 800 - Urban Editon really does light the way when you're cycling.
