Garmin Vector 3 Double

Garmin Vector 3 Double is the third generation of professional cycling pedals designed for demanding bikers. They are able to collect a lot of data about your performance with high precision. The most significant innovation compared to older models is the completely redesigned pedal construction. Each pedal now has an integrated wattmeter in its body. This gives you the possibility to analyse performance data individually for your left and your right leg. You can now evaluate the results using a mobile application due to the ANT+ and Bluetooth technology. Vector 3 pedals offer up to 120 hrs of battery life per set of batteries (LR44/SR4).

The key features of the Garmin Vector 3 Double pedals with wattmeter

• Suitable for demanding workouts
• Integrated wattmeters
• The possibility to record the performance of each leg separately
• Better evaluation of cycling trainer riding style
• ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity
• Same installation as with conventional pedals

Advantages of the Garmin Vector 3 Double pedals

The pads including the ANT+ transmitters are now integrated into the body of the pedals while still enabling perfect transfer of measured data to your cycling computer or sporttester. As a result of the new design, it is now possible to mount the pedals on a wider range of bicycles. The installation itself is exactly the same as with any other conventional pedals.

Precise monitoring and evaluation of the data

The pedals record a large amount of data that they collect in real-time during your training session. The main advantage is the independent monitoring of your left and your right leg. Therefore, the final data is not a mere sum of the values measured on one side and an estimate of the second side, but a sophisticated result obtained by a pair of wattmeters. The pedals, for example, determine the force of foot pressure on the pedal and show whether this occurred directly at the point of its axis or whether your pedalling is rather asymmetrical. Additionally, the sensors are able to automatically detect whether you are sitting or standing, and then independently evaluate the results for each type of ride. With the new TrainerRoad, The Sufferfest and Zwift training applications, Vector 3 Double offers an even more accurate data evaluation than ever before.
