The GIRO Fixture II MIPS bike helmet is designed for adults and is suitable for mountain and trail cycling. Thanks to its universal size, it fits heads with a circumference of 54–61cm. The In-mould construction combines a polycarbonate shell with EPS foam, ensuring low weight and durability. The key safety feature is the MIPS technology for enhanced protection of the brain against rotational forces during impact. Comfort is provided by 16 ventilation holes and quick-drying padding.

The GIRO Fixture II MIPS helmet places emphasis on protecting the rider on the trail. Its In-mould construction firmly joins the outer polycarbonate shell with the inner EPS foam, which absorbs impact energy. The integrated MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) technology is key. This is a slip-plane liner between the EPS shell and the inner padding. In the event of an angled impact, this layer allows the shell to rotate a few millimetres independently of the head, significantly reducing the rotational forces that could damage the brain. Increased protection for the nape of the neck is provided by the extended profile at the back.

Comfortable Fit and Adjustment

To ensure the helmet fits perfectly, it is equipped with the Roc Loc Sport fitting system. You can easily adjust the size using the dial at the back, which can be operated with one hand. The quick-drying Coolmax inner foam padding ensures comfort during your ride. This padding has an antibacterial treatment and can be removed if needed. A total of 16 ventilation holes ensure optimal airflow and head cooling, even on demanding climbs.

Practical Details for Off-Road Riding

The shape of the helmet is inspired by more expensive trail models and is designed for riding off paved roads. It includes a removable Snap-Fit 2 visor, which protects your eyes from the sun, branches, or flying mud. You can easily remove the visor according to the current conditions. To increase visibility in low-light conditions, the helmet features reflective elements. The fastening under the chin is a classic strap and buckle system.
