Green tea has its roots in China, where its use dates back more than 4,000 years. Legend has it that green tea was discovered by Emperor Shennong around 2737 BC. n. l., when a few tea leaves fell into the boiling water he was drinking. In the 8th century, Buddhist monks brought tea seeds and tea culture to Japan. Here, tea became an integral part of Zen Buddhist monasteries where it was used during meditation. Polyphenols are a group of natural compounds found in plants that have significant effects. Green tea is a rich source of these substances. The main polyphenols contained in green tea include catechins (Epigallocatechin gallate, Epicatechin, Epicatechin gallate and Epigallocatechin).

The entire production process is certified according to IFS Food
Why did we replace ISO 22000:2018 certification with IFS Food? IFS Food is a globally recognized certification for the safety and quality of food products designed for quality audits of production processes and products. A single internationally recognised food standard helps to ensure consistent safety and the highest possible quality of food worldwide. The German (HDE), French (FCD) and Italian (ANCC, ANCD) retail associations in cooperation with the manufacturers participated in the development of the IFS standards.

What does IFS certification tell us about
- About the high quality of the raw materials used
- About the high standard of raw material storage
- Maximum quality of the entire production process
- Increases product and brand credibility globally
Catechins
Catechins are a group of flavonoids and are the main components that contribute to the overall quality and effects of green tea. Other important components in green tea are also flavonoids, the amino acid L-theanine and phenolic acids, where each of these components contribute to the overall properties of the tea. The caffeine in green tea contributes to its effects. The caffeine content of green tea is lower than that of coffee, which can be an advantage for those looking for a milder stimulation. The combination of caffeine with L-theanine in green tea provides a balanced effect that is appreciated by many consumers around the world.
Active ingredients
- L-Carnitine is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a way to support their daily activity and vitality. L-carnitine is an essential amino acid that occurs naturally in the human body and plays an important role in fatty acid metabolism.
- White willow bark extract (Salix alba) is a natural substance extracted from the bark of the white willow tree. This tree is native to Europe and Asia and is known for its long, narrow leaves and white to greyish bark. The white willow belongs to the willow family (Salicaceae) and is valued for its bioactive components, which are extracted from its bark. White willow bark has a long history of use that dates back to ancient civilizations. The ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans used the bark of the white willow for its natural properties. White willow bark extract contains a number of bioactive components, including Salicin, Flavonoids, Tannins, Phenolic acids.
- Ginger root extract (Zingiber officinale) is a concentrated form of bioactive ingredients extracted from ginger rhizome. Ginger is a flowering plant native to Southeast Asia, known for its aromatic and spicy root. Gingerols are one of the main bioactive components in ginger, responsible for its spicy flavor and many of its properties. Gingerols are phenolic compounds that have a similar structure to capsaicin in chili peppers and curcumin in turmeric. 5% gingerols means that the extract contains a standardised amount of gingerols, namely 5%. This ensures consistent quality of the extract.
- Citrus aurantium, commonly known as bitter orange, is a plant whose fruit and bark are often used in dietary supplements. Citrus aurantium extract is a concentrated extract that is standardized for its synephrine content, the active ingredient responsible for most of its biological effects. Synephrine is an alkaloid that occurs naturally in plants of the Citrus genus, especially in Citrus aurantium. 95% Synephrine means that the extract is standardized to contain 95% synephrine, ensuring a high concentration of this active ingredient. This ensures consistent quality of the extract.
- The yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, known for its nutritional properties, is used for the production of Chromium Lalmin®. The yeast is grown under controlled conditions on a nutrient medium rich in sugars, minerals and other nutrients. During cultivation, chromium is added to the culture medium in a form that is well absorbed by the yeast. Yeast absorbs this chromium and incorporates it into its cellular structure. This process is called "biofortification". The yeast continues to grow and ferment, during which it is further enriched with chromium. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures and other conditions that promote optimal growth and enrichment. Once the fermentation process is complete, the yeast is harvested, which involves separating the yeast from the culture medium. The harvested yeast is dried to obtain a stable product with a long shelf life. Dried yeast enriched with chromium is further processed into the desired form, for example powder, which is intended for supplementation of looms. The chromium contained in Lalmin® is bioavailable, which may be beneficial for those who prefer this source of selenium. Chromium Lalmin® is also suitable for vegans.
- Piperine is a component of pepper referred to as the black diamond of the East. Piperine is often added to dietary supplements to increase the bioavailability of other active ingredients, such as curcuminoids from turmeric.
