Durable materials and external construction
The supporting structure of the Hannah Rider 2 tent consists of 3 duralumin 7001-T6 poles with a diameter of 8.5mm. The flysheet is made from 210T ripstop polyester with a PU coating and a water-repellent WR finish. The inner tent uses 190T polyester with a PU finish, and the groundsheet is made of 190T polyester with a PU coating.
Ventilation and practical features
The fully-opening door has partial ventilation and can be packed into a pocket when open, so it doesn't get in the way. Two vents provide additional airflow. You can store small items in the 2 internal pockets, and the individual parts of the tent are connected by durable branded buckles.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water penetration. It specifies the amount of water the material can hold before it starts to leak. The higher the value in mm, the more resistant the tent is. Every tent should have a flysheet with a water column of at least 2000mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop travelling at 80–90 km/h. To survive a storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3000mm is a safer bet. For the groundsheet, a water column of 5000mm is recommended for general hiking.
