Instructions for setting the Heys suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (factory preset is 0-0-0).2. Push the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.3. Set your new number on the dial and be sure to remember it.4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. To change your numerical code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory preset is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of a TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. It can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to destroy it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key designed to open that type of lock. Keys to TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA officers. After inspecting your luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection in your suitcase and the suitcase must be re-locked. It is especially recommended when travelling to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
