TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed so that luggage can be easily opened for inspection without being damaged. It also helps speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and inspect your luggage without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open that lock. Keys for TSA locks are not publicly available and are only accessible to TSA staff. After inspecting your luggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice inside your suitcase and must lock it again.
