How to set the TSA lock on your Heys suitcase
The lock is factory-set to open with the combination 0-0-0. You can either keep this combination or set a new one by following these steps:
1. Push the button in the direction of the arrow and hold it until you have completed step 2.2. Turn the dials to your desired personal combination.3. Release the button and turn the dials so the three numbers are not visible.
TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. It can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and check luggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open that kind of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold commercially and are only available to TSA officers. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection in your suitcase and the suitcase must be re-locked.
