TSA lock
The primary purpose of TSA lock systems, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without being damaged. This also speeds up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open that specific lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, officers are required to place an inspection notice inside your suitcase and must lock it again.
