The Naturehike Mongar 1 15D is an ultralight, double-skin tent for one traveller, designed for trekking and lightweight multi-day expeditions. A separate vestibule provides a sheltered space for your backpack, footwear and other gear. With the additional groundsheet, you can also set up a lighter shelter using just the flysheet and poles, in addition to the complete tent.

Lightweight materials of the Naturehike Mongar 1 15D tent
The Mongar's flysheet is made from 15D nylon with a silicone treatment on the outside and a PU coating on the inside. The raised hems in the head and foot areas use double-grid 20D nylon with a silicone treatment, while the rest of the inner tent consists of 15D nylon and insect mesh. The 210T polyester groundsheet with a triple grid increases resistance to mechanical stress. The tent's structure is supported by YUKSON poles made of an 8.5mm diameter aluminium alloy.
Storage features and stable pitching
Expanded storage areas on both sides of the inner tent keep small items easily accessible. The outer corners are modified for a tauter groundsheet pitch, and an internal line helps reinforce the Naturehike Mongar 1 15D tent in windy conditions or serves as a drying line. The double front awning expands the options for covering the space in front of the entrance. An additional groundsheet reduces dirt and wear on the integrated floor.

Water column
This indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water penetration. It specifies the amount of water the material can hold before it starts to leak. The higher the value in mm, the more resistant the tent is. Every tent should have a flysheet with a water column of at least 2000mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop travelling at 80–90 km/h. To survive a storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3000mm is a safer bet. For the groundsheet, a water column of 5000mm is recommended for general hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a groundsheet with a water column of 8000–10000mm.Specifications
