After use, just slide the knife back into the sheath and it is securely locked in place. The blunt tip of the knife can serve as an emergency screwdriver, the blade is serrated and also has a hook for cutting rope or line. Both the handle and the protective sheath of the Northern Diver SRE Squeeze Lock Knife are made of strong durable plastic.
