The Osprey Kyte 56 is a women's hiking backpack ideal for outdoor professionals and travelers who love exploring new places with a pack on their back. With a volume of 56 litres, it's spacious enough for multi-day hikes and several weeks of backpacking. The main compartment can be accessed not only through the top, but also through the side zipper, which makes it easy to organize belongings and equipment. The backpack offers plenty of storage space inside and out, including an adjustable canopy with interior and exterior pockets, stretch front pockets, mesh side pockets, and hip belt pockets. There are straps for attaching trekking poles, ice axes and loops for attaching materials and equipment.

Features and materials of the Kyte 56 backpack

The backpack is made of strong, materials (nylon) that can withstand rough handling. The material is treated with a water-repellent DWR treatment without the use of PFAS. The integrated rain cover is stored in a zipped pocket at the bottom of the backpack. The AirScape back panel offers improved hull length adjustment and a new injection-moulded frame, ensuring stability, breathability and a great fit for comfortable wear even on demanding trails. The top of the backpack is adjustable and contains a large zipped pocket and a mesh zipped pocket with a key clip. Inner hydration pocket with Hydraclip clip makes it easy to hang the hydration pack.

Comfort and stability

The Atilon frame evenly distributes the load across the entire back panel to the perimeter frame. The LightWire perimeter frame effectively transfers the load from the straps to the waist belt, ensuring even weight distribution. Mesh-covered foam lugs allow maximum ventilation while conforming to the body for a comfortable fit. Soft padded mesh provides a soft and breathable contact area with great support under load. The pack also includes removable straps for a sleeping pad, a sleeping bag compartment with a movable divider, a Stow-on-the-Go system for attaching trekking poles, two ice axe loops and adjustable chest straps with an emergency whistle.
