Sophisticated sleeping bag design for maximum thermal comfort
The hood drawstring is of course one-touch, at the same time it is located on the "11thhour" to make it as comfortable as possible to access from the sleeping bag. Patizon sleeping bags have an anatomical fit. This means that they follow the shape of the body to be as effective as possible in retaining heat. The foot area is of course designed with a specific number and position of chambers so that the insulation of cold-prone feet is maximised. The entire main zip is of course lined with a feather-filled insulating flap to prevent precious heat from escaping through it. The straight zipper design makes the entire insulation more efficient and the zipper easier to use. Around the shoulders there is an additional insulation flap, designed so that no Velcro or snaps are needed.
A smart zipper that does what you need it to do
Patizon sleeping bags use top-of-the-line SHZ zippers. In addition, they use smart semi-automatic sliders with two positions - STOP and GO. In the STOP position (pull downwards), the zipper is locked in position and does not come undone without having to be secured with a button or Velcro. In the GO position (slider up), the zipper can be opened by simply pulling it to the side. The zipper is of course equipped with a nice pull tab for reliable and comfortable fastening.
Smart details
The inner pocket measuring 20 × 12cm serves as a shelter for things you need to keep handy or protected against frost (batteries, medicines, etc.) Loops for hanging the sleeping bag are standard. In addition, you will receive a spacious storage case from the manufacturer to keep the sleeping bag as it should be and to keep it as long as possible. And then of course you get the compression wrapper. Lightweight yet durable.
A sophisticated solution against heat leakage
Both inside and outside of the sleeping bag, the ultra-lightweight and perfectly breathable Toray Airtastic fabric (100% recycled nylon) with DWR (C0) water repellent treatment is used. Designed using a straight zipper for easier handling, lighter weight and even better thermal insulation properties. Under the entire zipper is a feather-filled insulation flap that effectively eliminates heat leaks. Sophisticated collar design to prevent heat leakage. Unique "shell" collar around the shoulders without the need to fasten with a stud or Velcro, just zip and pull the drawstring.
Balance of weight, warmth and comfort
The collar around the anatomically shaped hood is filled with CLO's top-of-the-line Vivo Endurance synthetic insulation, which reduces heat loss, better resists exhaled moisture and prevents chafing from the drawcord. The semi-automatic SHZ zipper with two sliders ending at the ankles has a thickness of 3mm instead of the classic 6mm, due to reduced heat leakage and lower overall weight. The Mummy shape of the sleeping bag follows the shape of the body, where the bottom part is tapered exactly so that it is still possible to reach the feet when the sleeping bag is on (e.g. for taking off your socks).
