Luminous flux
Measured in Lumens (lm) – the higher the value, the brighter the headlamp shines. Some LED headlamps offer multiple levels of light intensity, adjustable either in steps or smoothly. However, higher luminous flux reduces battery life.Up to 100lm – headlamp for home use (lighting in the cellar, attic, or during car repairs).
100–400lm – outdoor use (night running, cycling, camping).
Over 400lm – extreme professions and sports (rescue workers, climbers).
