Petzl Attache Bar Grey

The Petzl Attache Bar karabiner is used for belaying, connecting a belay device to a harness, belaying with a Munter hitch, etc. The SCREW-LOCK screwgate with a lock indicator ensures it is securely closed. The dividing bar keeps the karabiner in the correct position and along the major axis, thus reducing the risk of it twisting. The bar can only be closed when the karabiner gate is correctly closed and locked. The smooth transition between the karabiner body and the gate, along with the Keylock system, reduces the risk of the rope, sling, or webbing getting snagged. In addition, the specially shaped contact surfaces facilitate the smooth passage of the rope. The grey Petzl Attache Bar HMS karabiner has a major axis strength of 21kN, a minor axis strength of 7kN, an open gate strength of 6kN, and a gate opening of 23mm. It is made of aluminium alloy and weighs 63g.
