PROM-IN Progressive PRE 2.0 705 g Lemon/mint
PROM-IN Progressive PRE 2.0
Lemon/Mint, 705g
Performance during physical exertion is limited by blood flow, the ability to buffer acidic metabolites, and rapid energy recovery. This pre-workout therefore contains a combination of three substances whose effectiveness is well documented by scientific studies.
PROM-IN Progressive PRE 2.0
Stimulant-free pre-workout. The formula works only with natural flavouring and achieves its sweet taste solely through the use of steviol glycosides. It contains no synthetic sweeteners, colourings, or preservatives. It combines citrulline, beta-alanine, and creatine HCl to support blood flow, optimise muscle function, and promote energy production. The combination of tyrosine, CDP-choline, and L-theanine supports focus and neuromuscular coordination. Each ingredient is present in a dose corresponding to long-established clinical studies.
Key Features of PROM-IN Progressive PRE 2.0
- Performance Support
- Support During Exercise
- Concentration Support
Active Ingredients
- L-Citrulline Malate (7000mg) – Citrulline is a precursor to arginine and thus nitric oxide (NO), which promotes vasodilation and the supply of nutrients to the muscles. The malate form adds a benefit: malic acid participates in the Krebs cycle and can support energy production. Studies show that doses above 6g of citrulline malate improve endurance and delay the onset of fatigue. ¹, ²
- Beta-Alanine (3000mg) – A well-known precursor to carnosine, which acts as a buffer for hydrogen ions. With regular use, it increases resistance during exertion lasting 1–4 minutes, the zone where the greatest adaptive stimuli occur. A meta-analysis confirms a significant effect on interval performance. ³
- Creatine HCl (3000mg) – A highly soluble form of creatine that allows a similar effect to 5g of monohydrate to be achieved, but with a lower risk of gastrointestinal issues. The EFSA confirms that a daily intake of 3g of creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise.
- BCAAs (L-Leucine 3000mg, L-Isoleucine 1500mg, L-Valine 1500mg) – Branched-chain amino acids are metabolised directly in the muscles, providing an immediately available source of energy. Leucine also activates the mTOR signalling pathway, which is key for subsequent adaptation to exertion. ⁴
- Taurine (1000mg) – An osmolyte and antioxidant that modulates calcium transport and supports stable muscle fibre contraction. Its protective role during intense exertion is documented by numerous studies. ⁵
- L-Tyrosine (1000mg) – A precursor to catecholamines (dopamine, noradrenaline). Studies show that tyrosine supplementation can support cognitive performance during stress and fatigue. ⁶
- CDP-Choline (Cogniwin®) (250mg) – A source of choline for the synthesis of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter crucial for cognitive performance and attention.
- L-Theanine (250mg) – An amino acid found in tea. Research confirms that it contributes to a state of “calm alertness”—improving concentration while simultaneously suppressing excessive nervous activation. ⁷
- Acetyl-L-Carnitine (500mg) – A carnitine derivative that supports mitochondrial metabolism and contributes to long-term mental performance and resilience. ⁸
- Niacin (30mg, 188% NRV) – A precursor to the coenzymes NAD+ and NADP+, which are essential for hundreds of enzymatic reactions related to energy metabolism. The flush effect is associated with vasodilation and is a natural consequence of its action. In the context of a pre-workout, niacin supports efficient energy flow and the smooth utilisation of substrates during performance.
- Vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5'-phosphate, 1.1mg = 78% NRV) – The active form of vitamin B6, which is involved in amino acid metabolism and the formation of neurotransmitters (dopamine, serotonin, GABA). It also supports gluconeogenesis, the creation of glucose from non-sugar sources, which is crucial during prolonged physical exertion. Unlike high doses, a safe concentration suitable for long-term use has been chosen here.
- BioPerine (1mg) – Black pepper extract standardised to piperine. In a targeted low dose, it increases the bioavailability of selected ingredients (especially CDP-choline and ALCAR) without increasing the risk of interactions with other supplements.
