Checking the lock before setting:
1. Make sure the dials are set to 0-0-0.
2. Insert the zip pullers into the lock slots. They should click into place.
3. Slide the opening button to the side to release the zip pullers.
4. Reinsert the pullers into the slots and turn one dial to lock the suitcase (for example, to 1-0-0).
5. Try sliding the opening button – it should now be locked.
6. Set the combination back to 0-0-0 and slide the button to release the zip pullers.
Setting your own number combination.
It is recommended to leave the suitcase unlocked (zip pullers out of the lock slots) when setting the combination.
1. Set the dials to 0-0-0.
2. Use a pointed object, such as a pen, to press the reset button until it clicks and stays in the pressed position.
3. Turn the dials to set your desired combination (for example, 8-8-8).
4. Slide the opening button to the side until you hear a click and the reset button returns to its original position.
5. Your combination is now set. Insert the zip pullers into the slots and slide the opening button to verify that the pullers are released correctly.
Memorise or write down your combination and keep these instructions in a safe place for future use.
