How to Set the Roncato Suitcase TSA Lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).2. Push the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a clicking sound.3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow. The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set.5. If you turn the numbers on the lock to any other random code, the lock will not open.
The lock will now only open with your set code. If you want to change your numeric code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the code is preset to 0-0-0 at the factory if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA Lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, primarily serves to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. It can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to destroy it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open that lock. Keys for TSA locks are not available for public sale and are only available to TSA officers. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice inside your suitcase and the suitcase must be re-locked. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
