How to set the Roncato suitcase's TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).2. Press the reset button with a pen or another pointed object until you hear a click.3. Set your new number on the dial and be sure to remember it.4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow. The reset button will return to its original position, and you will hear a click. Your new numeric code is now set.5. If you turn the numbers on the lock to any other code, the lock will not open.
The lock will now only open with your set code. If you want to change your numeric code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory code is preset to 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow baggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. This also helps speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and inspect baggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open that specific lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the baggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice inside your suitcase and must relock it. It is particularly recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
