Instructions for setting the Roncato suitcase TSA lock
Change the combination using the following steps:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (factory preset code is 0-0-0).2. Press the reset button with a pen or another pointed object until you hear a click.3. Set your new number on the dials and memorise it.4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow.
This returns the reset button to its original position and you hear a click. Your new combination is now set. To change your combination code again, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory preset code is 0-0-0, unless you have already set your own combination).
TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, primarily allows security personnel to easily open luggage during inspections without causing any damage, whilst also speeding up the check. TSA security officers can open and inspect the bag using this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, corresponding to the type of master key designed to open that specific lock. TSA master keys are not available to the general public and are restricted to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, officers must place an inspection notice inside your suitcase and lock it again. These locks are highly recommended, especially when travelling to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
