Instructions for setting the Roncato suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default code is 0-0-0).2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow. The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new numerical code is now set.5. If you turn the numbers on the lock to any other code, the lock will not open.
The lock will now only open with your set code. If you want to change your numerical code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the code is preset to 0-0-0 from the factory, if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The main purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. This also helps to speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to destroy it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key designed to open that type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not for public sale and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection in your suitcase, and the suitcase must be locked again. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily a US organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
