Instructions for setting the Roncato suitcase's TSA lock
You can change the number combination using the following procedure:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory preset code is 0-0-0).2. Push the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow. This will return the reset button to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set.5. If you turn the numbers on the lock to any other code, the lock will not open.
The lock will now only open with your set code. If you want to change your numerical code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the code is preset to 0-0-0 from the factory, unless you have already set your own code).
TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. It can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and check luggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open this kind of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not available for sale to the public and are only available to TSA officers. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notification of the inspection in your suitcase and the suitcase must be re-locked.
