TSA lock
The primary purpose of a TSA lock, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow security personnel to easily open your luggage for inspection without damaging it. This also helps speed up the screening process. TSA security officers can use a special master key to open and check your luggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key needed to open it. These keys are not for sale to the public and are only available to TSA agents. After inspecting your luggage, they are required to place a notification inside your suitcase and must relock it.
