TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked by the red diamond symbol, primarily allows security staff to open your luggage during checks without damaging it, whilst speeding up the inspection process. Security officers can open and inspect your suitcase using a master key without destroying the lock. All TSA locks feature a code from TSA001 to TSA007, corresponding to the specific universal key type designed for that lock. These keys are not commercially available and are only accessible to TSA personnel. After inspecting your bag, officers must place a notification of baggage inspection inside the suitcase and relock it. We particularly recommend this lock for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
