TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, primarily allows security officers to easily open your luggage for inspection without damaging it, whilst also speeding up the security check. With this type of lock, TSA staff can open and inspect your bag without having to break the lock. All TSA locks feature a code from TSA001 to TSA007, corresponding to the specific master key designed to open them. Keys to TSA locks are not commercially available and can only be accessed by TSA officers. After checking your luggage, officers must place a notification of inspection inside your suitcase and lock it again.
