How to set the TSA lock on the Samsonite Duffle/WH 55 L 35 DF Black travel bag
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default code is 0-0-0).2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.3. Set your new number on the dial and be sure to remember it.4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new numeric code is now set. If you wish to change your numeric code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the case, enter the correct code and press the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow the luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. It can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and inspect the luggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key intended for opening this type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not available for public sale and are only accessible to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notification of inspection inside your case and the case must be locked again.
