The Secutek GSM SST-550G photo trap is designed to track the movement of wildlife, as an effective security device, to detect the movement of unauthorized persons on private property and for covert monitoring of a selected area. Thanks to its camouflaged appearance, it does not attract as much attention as a classic security camera. The photo trap communicates via the GSM internet network, just insert a SIM card with active data, thus gaining access to the internet. It is set using the display, the supplied remote control or the software supplied on the CD with the photo trap. The photo trap is activated by motion detection or manually on command via SMS, after activation it takes video or photographs. It works in several modes. It can take a photo, record a video, or take a photo first and then start recording a video. Another function is the so-called. time-lapse, where it captures the scene at given time intervals. The Secutek SST-550G GSM photo trap is equipped with a 120° camera, captures photos up to 20 MP resolution and video up to FullHD resolution. It has 24 built-in infrared LEDs that illuminate the night scene up to 30 meters away, so it works even at night. It also has a PIR sensor that activates the photo trap if it detects movement in its surroundings. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted in three stages. Dboth reactions are 0.5 seconds. VThe recordings include the soundtrack. The built-in 2" TFT colour display shows a clear menu.
The photo trap both sends and saves records
Photos and videos are stored on an inserted SD memory card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB. The download of recordings is done by connecting the SD card via a memory card reader or by connecting the photo trap to a PC via a USB cable. The device appears as a removable disk and then you can play, copy or delete files. Potopast can be configured using the display, remote control or PC software. When motion is detected or an SMS command is sent, the photo trap sends an email or MMS to the selected device. It also saves the recording to the inserted SD card.
Withstands severe weather
The Secutek GSM SST-550G is powered by eight AA batteries, an external adapter (DC 9 V/1 A) or a solar panel. The photo trap can be attached to the desired location using the supplied strap or mounted to a tripod or bracket using the 1.4" thread. The IP65 waterproof standard ensures resistance to adverse conditions including heavy and persistent rain.
