The Maletto trousers are men's membrane trousers with a drawstring waist, designed primarily for active movement in cold conditions. They are made from a combination of a Quatroflex Power membrane with a water column of 10,000 mm and a breathability of 10,000 g/m²/24 h in the front to protect against wind and moisture, and a Powertherm elastic insulated material in the back of the trousers to ensure thermal comfort and good breathability when moving. They are not, however, designed for prolonged stays in severe cold or for low intensity movement, when significantly higher insulation is needed. Side zippers allow for easy donning and doffing, and an internal non-slip silicone hem provides stability when worn. There is a small zippered pocket in the back and reflective elements for increased safety.
