It allows the use of a wireless probe, so you can monitor the air supply in the bottle directly on your wrist. You will also have an up-to-date estimate of the remaining air time during the dive. Before entering the water, you can plan gas mixtures, test subsequent dives and also view the decompression-free time for different depths using the built-in dive planner. Once you've completed a dive, the data is easily downloaded to your desktop computer and analyzed with Suunto DM4 software, which includes a digital logbook with a graphical representation of your dives.
SUUNTO D4i NOVO informs about depth, dive length and temperature
In Air and Nitrox modes you can monitor current and maximum depth, current time, dive length, decompression time and temperature on the clear display. The SUUNTO computer also allows you to set audible and visual alarms for the depth and length of the dive, which then alert you when it's time to end the dive. In Nitrox mode, you can adjust the oxygen content of your mixture between 21-50% and the PO2 value between 0.5-1.6 bar. If you prefer to dive on your breath, the SUUNTO D4i NOVO also offers a sophisticated Freedive mode. It records the data 3 times per second, giving you a perfectly accurate depth value every time.
