Intuitive, lightweight and packed with features, that's exactly what the SUUNTO D6i NOVO is. It allows the use of a wireless probe, so you can monitor the air supply in the bottle directly on your wrist. You will also have an up-to-date estimate of the time of air remaining during the dive. Before entering the water you can plan gas mixtures, test subsequent dives and also view decompression-free time for different depths using the built-in dive planner. Once you've completed a dive, the data is easily downloaded to your desktop computer and analyzed with Suunto DM5 software, which includes a digital logbook with graphical representations of your dives.
SUUNTO D6i NOVO offers 5 modes
In Nitrox mode you can adjust the oxygen content of your mixture between 21-100% and the PO2 value for each mixture separately. Air mode is for standard air dives, while Gauge mode acts as a depth gauge with timing and also provides accurate sampling functions. During the dive, you have an underwater timer with the option of resetting, which you will appreciate while tracking the time spent on the bottom and during decompression stops. If you prefer to dive on the breath, the SUUNTO D6i NOVO also offers a sophisticated Freedive mode. It records the data 3 times per second, giving you a perfectly accurate depth value every time.
