Instructions for setting the T-class suitcase's TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new numeric code is now set. If you wish to change your numeric code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pulls to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. It can also speed up this inspection process. This type of lock allows TSA security officers to open and inspect the luggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key designed to open that type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not available for public sale and are only available to TSA officers. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection in your suitcase and the suitcase must be locked again.
