TSA lock

The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily used to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. This also speeds up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect the luggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key designed to open that lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold commercially and are only available to TSA officers. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection in your case and the case must be locked again. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.
