TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, primarily allows security personnel to open your luggage easily during checks without damaging it. It also speeds up the security screening process. This type of lock enables TSA agents to open and inspect your bag without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key designed to open them. These keys are not commercially available and are only accessible to TSA personnel. After inspecting your luggage, agents must place a notice of inspection inside your suitcase and lock it again. This lock is highly recommended, especially for travel to the US, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.
