The Vango Capri 400 is a double-skin camping tent for 4 people, designed primarily for novice campers, smaller families, couples, and friends. A spacious living area and head height that allows you to stand upright provide comfort during weekend stays and days spent inside the tent. A pre-attached front awning with a canopy extends the sheltered living area in front of the main entrance. Queen Size Lights-Out bedrooms offer plenty of room for every user and promote undisturbed sleep by reducing morning light.

Durable construction of the Vango family tent
The flysheet of the Vango family tent is made of strong Sentinel Fabric 68D PES with ColourLok Eco technology, which helps retain the material colour during prolonged use. Pre-angled PowerFlex fibreglass poles increase internal space and help the tent withstand the wind. The patented TBSII system uses tension bands to secure the tent at 3 points and can be tucked away in calm weather. An adjustable pegging system ensures precise pitching on uneven ground, and highly visible guylines remain easy to see in low light. Both the flysheet and groundsheet feature fully taped factory seams.
Bright and well-ventilated space
High and low AirZone ventilation panels ensure continuous air exchange and help reduce condensation inside the family tent. Diamond Clear windows increase natural daylight and allow you to view your surroundings. Toggle-up curtains can be closed for privacy or rolled away when not in use. The waterproof PE groundsheet is fully sewn into the flysheet, and its external storm skirt adds extra protection to the living area of the Vango Capri 400.
Flexible bedrooms and practical features
Zip up the inner divider for more privacy, or remove it completely to create one large shared bedroom. A wider entrance with a flat groundsheet provides easy access to the sleeping area. A pre-arranged entry port with hook-and-loop tidies lets you route a power cable safely. Hang lights from the integrated attachment points and store personal items in the bedroom pockets. The Easy Pack carry bag features extra material and increased volume, making the Vango Capri 400 much easier to pack away.

Hydrostatic head
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water penetration. It specifies the amount of water the material can hold before water begins to leak through. The higher the value in mm, the more water-resistant the tent is. Every tent should have a flysheet with a hydrostatic head of at least 2000mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80–90km/h. To survive a storm unscathed, a hydrostatic head of at least 3000mm is safer. For the groundsheet, a hydrostatic head of 5000mm is recommended for regular hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a groundsheet with a hydrostatic head of 8000–10000mm.Specifications
