The Vango Sierra 500 DeepBlue is a spacious tunnel-shaped tent that is ideal for up to 4 people. It is a great choice for family holidays and camping. The tent is equipped with several ventilation panels and a mesh wall behind the bedrooms, which ensures maximum air flow to prevent condensation inside the tent. Vertical side walls increase the interior height and maximise usable space. The tent has 2 entrances for greater flexibility of use. The construction consists of strong PowerFlex fiberglass members that provide stability and the TBSII system that strengthens the structure in high winds. Pre-curved bars add strength to the structure and provide more interior space. Thank yoularge hallway will give youcomfortable background in case of bad weather and enough space for storing all necessary things. Two bedrooms can be created inside the tent, which are made of fabric Midnight blocking daylight, creating ideal conditions for sleep. Tropico and base have taped seams, which guarantees water resistance even in heavy rain. Integrated underlay protects against draughts and prevents insect penetration. A mesh panel with an adjustable cover at the back of the tent ensures optimal ventilation. Large ventilation panels in the bedroom and a roll-up mesh door allow plenty of fresh air. The internal height of the Vango tent reaches almost 2 meters, which allows comfortable movement even for taller figures. The large front entrance can be fully opened or only partially opened as required. Daylight is let in through the large Diamond Clear windows, which can be blacked out with roller blinds. The Sierra's stability is enhanced by the TBSII tensioning strap system, which resists wind gusts and can be easily hidden in calm weather. The folding door sill facilitates access especially for wheelchair users or with a stroller.

The Vango Sierra 500 DeepBlue tent is anchored with plastic pins in the corners by the orange tent loops. Thanks to the tensioning cords in a striking orange colour, the tent is easily visible even in twilight, which increases the safety of movement around it. At the same time, these cords contribute to the strength of the entire structure. The anchoring system can be easily adjusted to suit your needs, so the tent holds firm even on less level ground. The structure is made of Sentinel solid fabric with ColourLok Eco technology, which ensures higher resistance to sunlight and longer material life. The fabric is also waterproof, with a water column value of 4,000 mm, providing reliable protection against rain.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking.
