TSA lock
TSA lock systems, marked with a red diamond symbol, are primarily used to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. This also helps speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key designed to open them. Keys for TSA locks are not available for public sale and are only accessible to TSA personnel. After inspecting your luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection inside your suitcase and must lock it again. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.
