Perfect nails with Starnails gel polish

The process is very simple. Compared to classic nail polishes, gel polish was developed for a long-lasting manicure without peeling or cracking. When applying a high-quality gel polish, your nails will stay beautiful for two to four weeks. Unlike regular nail polish, gel polish does not air dry and must be cured under a UV/LED lamp.

Application:
1. Pushing back the cuticles - using a manicure tool, e.g. a pusher or an orange stick, gently push back the cuticles at the edge of the nails. Remove excess cuticles with manicure scissors or clippers. To make the work easier, you can use a cuticle softener
2. Shaping and buffing the nail - shape the nail to the desired shape with a file. Buff the entire surface of the nail bed with a sanding block. Proceed very gently but thoroughly. The surface of the nail should not be shiny. Use a Cleaner and a lint-free pad to clean the surface of the nail from dust particles
3. Applying Nail Prep and Primer - apply a thin layer of Nail Prep liquid to remove any impurities and grease from the nail. For better adhesion with the first layer of gel material, also apply a Primer
4. Applying the base coat - apply a thin layer of base coat, ensuring it does not run to the edges of the nail or overlap the cuticle. Cure the layer under a UV/LED lamp for approx. 30 seconds, depending on the type and power of your lamp. Do not wipe off the resulting sticky inhibition layer on the nail surface, it helps for better adhesion with subsequent layers of nail material
5. Applying the colour gel polish - apply the colour gel polish to the cured base coat layer. To achieve the desired colour saturation, you can apply the gel polish repeatedly. Cure the layer under a UV/LED lamp for approx. 30 seconds. Do not wipe off the inhibition layer
6. Applying the finish gel polish - for a longer-lasting and fixed manicure, apply a final layer of finish gel polish, whether with a glossy, matte or special effect. Cure the layer under a UV/LED lamp for approx. 30 seconds, depending on the type and power of your lamp
7. Nail care with nourishing oil - don't forget to give your nails the necessary final care with a special nourishing nail oil from STARNAILS with a luxurious scent
Removing gel polish:
Gel polish is removed by filing it down with a file or a nail drill with a fine bit. The technique of soaking the gel polish in acetone, so-called acetone wraps, is also popular.
