The pennyroyal velvetleaf mushroom is a medicinal mushroom known by the Japanese name enokitake or also abbreviated enoki, Latin Flammulina velutipes. The beneficial mushroom has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and valued especially for its abundance of antioxidants. A special double extraction method obtained from enoki extract. Polysaccharide content more than 40 %.

This medicinal mushroom has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is valued for its abundance of antioxidants. Enoki contains polysaccharides (proflamine, Flammulin, betaglucans), but also proteins, glycoproteins (lectin), sterols (mycosterol), lipids, phenols or sesquiterpenes. Of the minerals, it is magnesium, zinc, Pine, manganese, copper, sodium and potassium. Among the vitamins, provitamin A, B vitamins and ergosterol (D2 is produced by sunlight) stand out.
