MTS GUARD® is a combination of bergamot extract and phospholipids suitable for the prevention and development of metabolic syndrome. Thanks to Phytosome® technology, bergamot extract is embedded in the phospholipid matrix as if it were an integral part of the lipid membrane. Thanks to this technology, the polyphenolic fractions of bergamot are quickly absorbed and effective. The effectiveness of MTS GUARD® compared to conventional bergamot products is 250% higher.
Metabolic syndrome (MTS)
The metabolic syndrome develops over time in individuals with a genetic predisposition to an inappropriate lifestyle, i.e. with excessive energy intake and insufficient physical activity. Indicators of MTS include abdominal obesity, cholesterol, triglyceride levels and insulin resistance.
