The Latin name of Shiitake is Lentinula edodes. Shiitake is a highly valued beneficial mushroom. It has been consumed in China and Japan for 2000 years. A special double extraction method obtained from Shiitake extract grown organically on oak tree trunks. Polysaccharide content more than 40 %.

Shiitake is rich in beta-glucans (lentinan, laminarin) that support immunity. It also contains erythadenine and lentinacin, contributing to fat metabolism. Among minerals, it is an important source of copper, selenium, zinc, manganese and iron. Vitamins include B2, B6, niacin, choline, pantothenic acid and vitamin D. Shiitake began cultivation in China thousands of years ago and gradually spread to Japan and Taiwan. Traditionally, spores were spread from infected tree trunks to new wood. To this day, they are grown on wooden trunks or special substrates that mimic the natural environment of the fungus. SUPERIONHERBS™ Shiitake are grown in pure nature, the traditional way on long oak trunks - similar to Duanwood Red Reishi.

Recommended dosage
First week:
1 capsule in the morning about 20 minutes before breakfast.
From week two:
1 capsule in the morning about 20 minutes before breakfast and 1 capsule in the afternoon between meals.
The capsules are best taken with lukewarm or warm liquid.
