- The soluble corn fibre in the syrup provides nourishment for the microbial flora in the digestive tract. Due to the profile of this fibre, digestion occurs throughout the entire digestive tract as follows: 10–15% is hydrolysed at the end of the small intestine. Around 75% is fermented in the large intestine and the rest is excreted by the body. This prevents excessive fermentation in the small intestine, which could cause bloating, abdominal pain, or diarrhoea.
- Figs help maintain a normal intestinal microbial balance and contribute to maintaining normal bowel function.
- Fennel and mint essential oils support digestion.
Ingredients
Concentrated plum juice, corn fibre, carrier: purified water; concentrated fig juice, preservative: potassium sorbate; fennel essential oil, mint essential oil.
Recommended Dosage
Children from 3 years of age:
10ml of syrup once a day (1 tablespoon).
Children from 12 years of age and pregnant women:
20ml of syrup once a day (2 tablespoons).
Adults:
30ml of syrup once a day (3 tablespoons).
We recommend taking the syrup on an empty stomach (i.e., at least half an hour before a meal or at least 2 hours after a meal), preferably in the evening, and with plenty of water.
Warning
