Tantum Verde Spray treats pain and inflammation in the throat and mouth. It can be used by adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age. It is also suitable for patients with diabetes (sugar-free). The spray form allows targeted application to the affected area. Tantum Verde Spray can only be used during pregnancy after consulting a doctor.
When to use Tantum Verde Spray?
Pain and inflammation in the throat
- Treats pain and swelling
- In tonsillitis
- In pharyngitis
Inflammation of the oral cavity
- For gingivitis
- In inflammations of the oral mucosa
- In periodontal disease
- Treats aphthae
Pain after surgical procedures
- After dental treatment (tearing of molars)
- After plucking almonds
Dosage
Always apply Tantum Verde Spray after meals. If you do not feel better within 7 days or if you get worse, you must consult a doctor. Do not use for more than 14 days without consulting your doctor.
- Children from 6 to 12 years of age apply 1 - 3 injections 2 - 6 times a day. The interval between applications is 1.5 - 3 hours.
- Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age apply 4 - 8 injections 2 - 6 times a day.
Use
- Before first use, press the dosing pump several times to ensure even doses are applied.
- Turn the oral applicator (white tube) to a position perpendicular to the bottle.
- Put the applicator to the mouth and apply to the affected area in the mouth or throat.
- Press the dosing pump on the top of the vial firmly as many times as the number of injections prescribed. One injection is made per press.
- Hold your breath for the duration of the application.
Ingredients
The medicinal substance is benzydamine hydrochloride 1.5 mg in 1 ml of solution (1 injection represents 0.17 ml of solution).
Excipients are: glycerol, ethanol 96%, saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, methylparaben (E218), peppermint aroma, polysorbate 20, purified water.
