The Teltonika TAP200 is an indoor WiFi 5 standard access point that operates in dual-band mode with a maximum wireless transmission speed of up to 867Mbps on the 5GHz frequency. The device meets the requirements of medium-demand spaces that need a stable network connection for a larger number of users. This model uses WiFi 5 Wave 2 technology for efficient signal distribution and smooth wireless network operation in offices or shops.

Dual-band wireless
This access point operates on two frequency bands simultaneously, which optimises the distribution of network traffic. The 2.4GHz band is suitable for less demanding tasks, while the 5GHz band offers speeds of up to 867Mbps for data-intensive transfers. The device uses MU-MIMO 2×2 transmission technology along with four integrated antennas, two of which serve the lower frequency and two the higher frequency band.
Seamless roaming
The device supports advanced networking standards for seamless user movement within the covered area without losing connection. Fast roaming, compliant with the 802.11r standard, is complemented by BSS transition management and radio resource measurement technologies for intelligent client device switching. The system can create a wireless mesh network using the 802.11s standard and can handle up to 100 concurrently connected users.
Enterprise-level security
The protection of transmitted data meets high standards with support for modern encryption protocols. The network can be secured using WPA2-Enterprise, WPA2-PSK, WPA3-SAE, WPA3-EAP, or password-free OWE encryption. Administrators can use the client device separation function and enforce the protection of management frames with the 802.11w Protected Management Frames standard.
Connectivity
The physical interface of the access point consists of a single Ethernet port that supports speeds of 10/100/1000Mbps. This port is also used to power the device via PoE-in technology, compliant with the 802.3af PoE Class 1 standard, with a voltage range of 44.0 to 57.0V. The device runs on the RutOS operating system and offers remote management through the Teltonika RMS system.
