The Tenda TX2 WiFi router operates on the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard, providing a stable dual-band connection with a total transfer speed of up to 1501Mbps. The device broadcasts its signal across two frequency bands, reaching speeds of 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and up to 1201Mbps on the 5GHz band. The device uses five external 6dBi omnidirectional antennas to cover large indoor areas. Integrated Beamforming technology actively focuses the wireless signal towards connected devices. This dual-band router can efficiently serve dozens of wireless clients at home or in the office.

Efficient data transfer with MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies
The wireless network uses modern technological features for parallel communication with multiple client devices at the same time. The combination of MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies divides transmission channels into smaller sub-channels, which reduces latency and prevents network slowdown under heavy load. The router automatically unifies the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands under a single common network name (SSID). Connected phones, tablets and computers then automatically select the optimal frequency based on the current signal strength. Smart Traffic Prioritisation technology ensures the smooth running of latency-sensitive applications.
Advanced network security with the WPA3 protocol
The WPA3-SAE encryption standard ensures the security of data transmitted over the wireless network, supplemented by the older WPA, WPA2, and PSK-variant protocols. The integrated hardware firewall actively protects the internal network from internet threats. The hardware WPS button facilitates fast and secure pairing of end devices with the wireless network. Parental controls let you set up lists of blocked or allowed websites.
Flexible operating modes and connectivity
The device offers three different operating modes for integration into your existing network infrastructure. Besides the classic wireless router mode, you can configure the device as an access point or as an extender in Client + AP mode to repeat and extend the range of an existing signal. You can manage and configure the system via the classic web interface or through the Tenda WiFi mobile app, which is available in English. The mobile app makes it easy to set up a guest network or schedule wireless broadcasting. High-throughput gigabit Ethernet ports provide a wired network connection. The rear of the chassis houses connectors for internet connection and for end devices. The device is equipped with one gigabit WAN port (10/100/1000Mbps) and three gigabit LAN ports (10/100/1000Mbps).
