The Termofol floor heating mat consists of a system of conductors laid on a special fibreglass mesh. Installation does not raise the floor level and provides the pleasant feeling of a warm floor, which enhances the comfort of any interior. A constant output of 150W/m² ensures optimal thermal performance, and the system itself is completely independent of the existing central heating installation, so it can be controlled as you wish. The H6 installation kit is ready for you to install yourself.

Site preparation and installation:
The first step in laying the mat is to create a hole in the wall for 2 conduits, which will house the end of the power cable and the sensor wire. A Ø 60 flush-mounted box must also be placed in the wall for installing the temperature controller. You can then proceed to lay the system on the floor. For the floor heating mat to serve its purpose, it must be spread evenly over the entire floor area. It is particularly important to maintain equal spacing and to avoid downpipes, drains, hot water installation elements or heating pipes. In the event of a failure and the need to replace these elements in the future, the conductors could be mechanically damaged. The heating mat should not be laid so that it passes between separate rooms or under permanently installed furniture or equipment. However, it is acceptable to lay it under wall-hung sanitary ware or furniture on legs. The electrical conductors must never be shortened. If the heating film or heating mat under the panels, terracotta or flooring is too long and does not fit in the room, cuts may only be made to the mesh.
