Akros Healthy Food Pyramid

The board game Pyramid of Healthy Eating is a nice educational game for preschoolers and younger schoolchildren. The aim of this association game is to correctly assign different foods to the healthy food pyramid according to how often they should be eaten. In this game, players roll the dice with green, yellow and red colours and then match the food picture cards to the correct colour section of the pyramid. It is divided into three parts according to how often the food contained in it should be eaten (green - often, yellow - sometimes, red - occasionally). The backs of the food cards are labelled with the colour of the food category, so children can check the correctness of their assignment themselves. Children can play competitively and compete to see who can correctly match the most food cards, or cooperatively and give each other advice. The Healthy Food Pyramid board game provides children with knowledge about the composition of a balanced diet and suitable and less suitable foods, develops logical reasoning and observation skills, and expands vocabulary.
