The Arrma Mojave Grom 1:16 4WD RTR RC car is ready for a demanding drive. It has a reinforced composite chassis with independent suspension, oil-filled shock absorbers and 4WD. Robust metal differential gears transfer power from the MEGA 380 DC motor through a sealed drivetrain to the large wheels and dBoots Fortress tyres. The Spektrum SX110 steering servo also features metal gears and, like the Spektrum SLT 2-in-1 25A receiver/controller, is waterproof, which lets you drive even in wet conditions. An integrated fan keeps the motor temperature low, helping to maintain high performance. You can upgrade the RC car with spare parts and tuning components.
RC car inspired by the look of real desert racing trucks
After assembling the model, you'll be impressed by the shape of the RC car and its bodywork, complete with driver and navigator figures, which captures the unmistakable look of the real MOJAVE DESERT TRUCK. The Arrma Mojave Grom 1:16 4WD RTR Kit RC car features oil-filled shock absorbers, which means it can handle driving over obstacles, jumps and large bumps. On the left side of the chassis, there is an easily accessible compartment for storing the drive battery. Two latches on the sides of the compartment ensure a secure fit.
Durable wheels and tyres can handle the terrain
The drivetrain transfers power to durable dBoots Fortress wheels and tyres, which are made from a proven compound and feature a directional tread pattern. In the central part of the chassis is a centre driveshaft connecting the front and rear differentials, which has a direct drive from the motor via a pinion and main spur gear. At the end of the centre driveshaft are metal bevel gears from the differentials. The V2 differentials at the front and rear are enhanced with metal internal gears and cross pins. On the right side of the chassis is the power unit, consisting of an ARRMA MEGA 380 28T motor and an integrated 25A controller with receiver. A fan mounted on the motor heatsink ensures more effective cooling.

The Arrma Mojave Grom 1:16 4WD RTR RC car has a Spektrum Smart 2S LiPo battery with IC2 connectors, which provides a long run time on a single charge. It charges in about an hour using the Spektrum Smart G2 S10 USB-C charger. The car is conveniently controlled via the 2-channel Spektrum SLT2 transmitter, which lets you limit the maximum speed to 50% and 75%. Once you are ready for full power, you can disable the speed limit.
