With the TYPHON MEGA 665 4×4, you can now experience a bigger and better ride - and later switch to brushless power for even greater performance peaks. With a low center of gravity, high downforce wing, wide arms and wheels, and multi-surface tires, the TYPHON MEGA proves to be the ideal platform to enter the world of aggressive 1/8 scale riding. It is extremely durable and easy to handle, so it can handle larger sizes and higher speeds with confidence. Its high-speed brushed MEGA 665 motor is 11% larger than the 550 size motor of the previous version, featuring an aluminium radiator and 35mm cooling fan for improved efficiency and performance. If you decide to go brushless, the included gearbox is already ready for a 3S brushless system. In addition, it is protected by a new maintenance-free overload clutch that prevents damage from excessive torque.

Large side undercarriage covers protect against dirt. Off-road suspension and oil-filled coil-spring shock absorbers absorb shock. Ground clearance can be easily adjusted for better ground clearance. The dBoots 2-HO multi-surface pattern tyres provide excellent traction in all conditions. The bodywork of the TYPHON comes in a distinctive factory finish in several fresh colour options and now uses a clipless mounting system, which maintains a clean and smooth appearance. The ready-to-run package is complemented by Spektrum's high-quality electronics, including the SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter, SLT 2-in-1 40A ESC/LiPo-ready receiver and S661 digital servo with metal gears for precise and powerful control.
Ready for brushless upgrade and protected for higher performance
With a 3S gearbox that is ready for a brushless system, the ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4×4 is equipped for an easy transition to brushless power. This ensures higher efficiency and even higher speeds compared to the basic brushed drive. Instead of a traditional slip clutch, an overload clutch (torque limiter) is used here.which significantly reduces maintenance requirements while protecting the gearbox from damage caused by excessive torque.
Sophisticated chassis design and racing bodywork
The durable chassis is vented to prevent the on-board electronics from overheating. Large side covers provide better protection against dust and dirt. Spektrum Stealth monochrome electronics are included for a clean look. The battery straps are adjustable and compatible with 2S LiPo batteries in a hard case. The body of the TYPHON MEGA 665 4×4 is based on a racing design and is securely mounted using a hidden clipless system. It comes in bold factory colour schemes and features a high downforce wing for improved stability at high speed.
Reliable Spektrum electronics and intuitive controls
Spektrum's high-quality waterproof electronics are installed from the factory, ensuring trouble-free operation even in challenging conditions. The SLT 2-in-1 ESC/receiver with a current load of 40 A is ready for use with LiPo batteries. The S661 digital servo with metal gears delivers precise control and 125 oz-in of torque at 6 V. The included Spektrum SLT2 transmitter is lightweight, ergonomically designed and balanced for comfortable, fatigue-free operation. It has a foam wheel for precise fingertip control. Beginners can set the power limit to 50% or 75% until they get used to the full power of the buggy.

It offers increased power and speed, while the aluminium engine cooler and 35mm cooling fan increase efficiency and extend engine life. Independent all-wheel suspension and oil-filled coil-spring dampers ensure a smooth ride even on rough terrain. If you encounter larger bumps, you can adjust the ground clearance as needed to improve ground clearance. The dBoots 2-HO tread pattern provides excellent traction on a variety of surfaces. Ventilation in the tyres allows air to flow, improving grip while allowing water and dirt to escape. They are mounted on durable nylon multi-spoke wheels with foam inserts for increased grip and handling.
